Popular Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale has disclosed the conversation he had with Beyoncé when they first met.
The two had an encounter on the set for the shoot of Beyoncé’s music video titled ‘Already’ which features Shatta Wale.
From reports, and accounts given by the Ghanaian, the the two artists met in Brooklyn in the USA for the shoot.
According to Shatta Wale, Beyoncé told him how strong his vocals are, a compliment he has never recieved from any Ghanaian since he started music.
He added that standing in the same space with Beyoncè was a dream he never wanted to wake up from.
“Beyoncè told me she likes my vocals and my songs are one of a kind. The first day I met Beyoncè, I thought it was a dream for me”
“I thought it wasn’t me standing there. I remember after speaking to her I had to call my father and I was screaming…” he stated in an interview with Onua FM.
The song released in 2019 features Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale and international act Major Lazer.
‘Already’ was released off Beyoncé’s ‘The Lion King: The Gift’ album.
The visuals for the album have been included in her movie titled ‘Black Is King’ available on Disney+.
